"In Deep Analysis" is a think tank on issues of economic development and growth. The approach to the issues is through the social perspective of Professor P. E. Petrakis and his research team.

In its analyses economics are exploited as a social science in its broadest sense. There is an attempt to analyze the interactions between specific economic and political events and social happenings. The authoritative, timely and in-depth analysis of the economic developments is a comparative advantage for each reader.

 

Economic Contradictions

The Βlog “Economic Contradictions” written by Professor P.E. Petrakis, by the site in.gr, aims to comment on current events through the prism of political economy. In this blog economics are utilized as a social science in its broadest sense, through an attempt to analyze the interaction between specific economic and political events and social happenings. The approach to the issues is made through the social perspective of the author and his research team.

 

Unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MO.K.E.) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens aims to the expansion, enhancement and quality improvement regarding interventions for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship, among students and graduates of the National University of Athens.

Scientific Responsible for the Unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is Professor P.E. Petrakis.

 

E-learning Program of The Vocational Training Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

The E-learning Program of The Vocational Training Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has been operating successfully since 2001, and provides asynchronous educational training programmes that combine theoretical and practical knowledge. The Program's Scientific Coordinator is the Professor of Economics at theNational and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Panagiotis E. Petrakis. The E-Learning educational programmes are designed and developed by academic staff and experts well renowned in the academic world. During the thirteen years of operation until today, the E-learning Program of The Vocational Training Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has received a total of about 40.000 applications, and 19.000 people have participated in the programs. Specifically, for the academic year 2012-2013, 3.800 students were admitted to the courses.

Up to the present, more than 150 e-learning programs are currently running in Greek, mainly covering the following areas:
