Bülent Temel is a political economist at Southern New Hampshire University and Atılım University. He has worked as a financier in corporate America for eight years before joining academia, during which he received several recognitions including the 2007 Edward Jones Outstanding Performance Award. He is the editor, most recently, of The Great Catalyst: European Union Project and Lessons from Greece and Turkey (Lexington, 2013), and an editorial board member of the International Journal of Human Rights and Constitutional Studies based in Zurich, Switzerland.
